No, she's been in ICU since basically Thanksgiving. I did get to see her a day or so before she died. I'm ok with it, actually, as ok as I can hope to be. I was ready for it...

Does anyone mind if I play around with the color scheme? Anyone have a theme to suggest?

This color scheme right now isn't so bad, better than it was.

How is your grandfather doing, shin? If he's still around, that is.

This color scheme right now isn't so bad, better than it was. All I did was change the background...the red on red was making my eyes bleed. I'll wait for shin's go ahead to do anything else.

It's fine, DED. Wasn't going to stay this color past the weekend anyway, then I'm bringing Neil and his blues back.
Tok, my grandfather actually divorced her 30 years ago and remarried, but he's not taking it well regardless. It was a pertty nasty divorce, and they had started to get along again over the years. She still represented an era that was dear to him, and now that she's gone, that time is officially in the past.

You guys want to know the most fucked up thing? I've actually been taking her death really well, surprisingly and discomfortingly well, but last night I heard that when she flatlined, her heart was actually emitting heat and energy for a good 9 minutes after she was officially dead...like her heart refused to stop beating even though the rest of her had simultaneously quit.
The doctor said that happens semi-frequently in children, but almost never in adults.
I almost lost my shit when I heard it and had to excuse myself. The only time I've come close to being emotional since this whole thing went down.
