I got on in March '99, I think. I was a junior in high school at the time, so that sounds about right.
Jesus came on in about April. His first posts were over on the Marilyn Manson board with me, where we were debating religion with a bunch of people for a couple months. Think Jesus made the Coffeeshop later in 2000.
Sigman, Holzman, Blaney...those are your fucking dinosaurs. They've all been around since early/mid '98, and I think Holzman was even around when the RS boards were in some weird format that I never even saw.
Jesus Christ I'm a fucking dork for knowing all that. And for keeping up with this shit for nearly six years.
Almost didn't sign in here because I didn't think my life could afford another time-waster, but then the Chris Jericho boards got hacked and I figured I'd have some free time. Looking forward to it, have a shitload of catching up to do.
Didn't think about signing in under the "ekul" moniker until about ten seconds after I registered here, so I guess it's gonna be "luke."
Shin, checked out the Ham Bomb and threw some thoughts down.

That time line makes sense. I think I landed at RS.com sometime just after Jesus at around August 1999 or early fall.

I remember you alright, ekul. We were not on speaking terms then, and I won't pretend otherwise. Water under the bridge?

Hey Pissin, long time no see. How's Galactus?
Feel like an ass for not knowing how to change my display name all this time. I always thought that thorn just, like, PM'd strat-o all the time to change his name or something. Feels almost surreal posting as ekul again. I'll see if it sticks.
Toklon, I really should have apologized to you for being a snide prick a long time ago, but I was a bit too stubborn back then. Really, though, way under the bridge, everything's cool, and I certainly have no intention of coming in here with bad blood towards anyone. That would be pretty gay.

Since Ekul and Riley have brought it up, we should all recall and post our timelines on the original RS.com boards here. lemme see. i first came on as Sister Ray. (Which unleashed a flood of jokes about being a trannie, if i recall properly. I had to explain to everyone that it was the name of a bad ass song.) This was about 4 years ago? I recall that Shin was a newbie then, as i was. and i remember unleashing a world'o'pain on the Pearl Jam fans in one long meanspirited ugly ugly fightfest over like 2 nights or something.... damn it was ugly. Lord Shin came in at that point (for one of the very fisrt times of his posting life) and told me that i was a jackass I also recall that Proud was my huge enemy back then. God did we ever fight. Then i called myself PrettyWellDone, which became PrettyPretty, because i figured i wanted to make the "trannie" joke even more obvious for simpletons to make. Thems were ugly days, because i fought with pretty much every single poster on every single issue at some point or another. Now its RitalinPants, which has proven to coincide with more stable times... I wish all of you a peaceful peacefulness. serenity now.

thay just used to symbolize all that was evil about the world to me. once upon a time. i don't think this anymore. actually, it would be more accurate to say that i don't get worked up about it so much these days.
believe it or not, i once listened to Ten and Vs everyday for an entire year.. i'd guess this was about 1994. but in 1994, i was a ways yet from being of driving age, or even being out of elementary school. that's my excuse.
